BRIGNAC NAMED TO INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE ALL-STAR TEAM
July 2nd 2009—The Durham Bulls today announced infielder Reid Brignac was elected to the 2009 International League All-Star team. Brignac, Durham's only representative, is making his second consecutive appearance at the midsummer classic after earning a spot in 2008.

July 1st 2009—Chick-fil-A and the Durham Bulls are partnering on two select dates this season to benefit the Durham Bulls Youth Athletic League. Fans who donate slightly used or new bats, gloves, balls, catcher's equipment or any other gear will receive a Chick-fil-A prize pack with a coupon for a free meal and a stuffed cow toy.

June 29th 2009—The Durham Bulls today announced RHP Andy Sonnanstine, a key member of the 2008 American League Champion Tampa Bay Rays, will pitch for the Bulls on Thursday, July 2nd when Durham takes on their cross-state rivals, the Charlotte Knights.
